Small experiment. Small data footprint.
This page explains the information collected during buyer research for Homo Sapiens Operator's Manual. The project is an educational reference, not a healthcare provider, medical device, or diagnostic service.
What we collect
- Your email when you request the card, complete the survey, volunteer for a follow-up, reserve the manual, or contact support.
- A first-party random visitor identifier and source labels such as post, Story, DM, campaign frame, creative, placement, and organic or paid cohort.
- The action taken: page visit, card download, survey completion, optional follow-up opt-in, reservation, refund, or support request.
- Payment status and Stripe identifiers for reservations. Stripe—not this site—collects and stores payment-card details.
- Your seven survey answers, including the two written answers, and any non-sensitive text you voluntarily place in the support form.
What we deliberately do not ask for
Do not submit diagnoses, medications, medical histories, lab results, biometrics, symptoms, insurance information, or other sensitive health information. These are not needed for this research.
Why we use it
We use the information to deliver the card, measure source-specific demand, compare structured survey answers, identify independently written themes, invite selected follow-up volunteers, administer refundable reservations, provide support, prevent duplicate processing, and improve the product and message. We do not sell personal information or use submitted information to target health-condition advertising.
Storage and service providers
Form and event records are stored in Cloudflare D1. Transactional email is sent through Resend, and inbound support email is routed through Cloudflare Email Routing. Reservations are processed by Stripe. If you volunteer for a follow-up, the owner may contact you separately; recording requires separate consent. Each provider processes information under its own terms.
Your choices
You may request access, correction, deletion, unsubscribe from research follow-up, or ask a privacy question through the support form. Some transaction records may be retained when required for accounting, fraud prevention, or legal obligations. Deleting Stage 0 research data does not require giving a reason.
Educational purpose
The card and future manual provide general educational information. They are not medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or a substitute for care from a qualified professional.
